*RULES
Yeah, yeah RULES. I need you to read them tho... or else you'll look like a total newbie.
*REGISTERING
Just make sure your Display name is changed to your character's name in ALL CAPS. Ex: BOSTON THOMAS SULLIVAN
Easy right?!
There is currently no limit to how many characters you can create. Please keep in mind that we want them ALL active. If we find that a few are lacking, we'll let you know.
*APPLYING
Obviously don't start posting until your application has been accepted.
If your application hasn't been replied to in 3 days, message a staff member.
Try not to do the bare minimum! It'll be best if you really develop the character. That way, it'll be fun for you and other players.
(No one wants to RP a bunch of perfect or the same characters.)
Make sure it makes sense... a pessimistic person is not going to be adventurous.
*ROLE-PLAYING
Use caution, we are what society calls a 'PG-13' site.
No sex threads, or utter gory threads. (EW!) If you really do want to continue it, take it up in a private chat... otherwise: just fade to black.
We try to welcome everyone of all skill-levels; but we do ask that your posts exceeds 100 words. That may sound intimidating, but it really isn't! All you just need to remember are your character's feelings, emotions and habits.
Your posts need to have at lease 100 words when it comes to role-playing. Try your best to aim for at about 200 - 300 words...
*GRAPHICS
No graphics wider than 500px!
Try not to have things longer than 400px , too.
No porn, nudity or incredibly skimpy pictures please.
If you're making things like signatures, make sure you credit where you got the pictures.
I've made it so avatars can be no longer than 140x200 (you're welcome!)
*OTHER
No one is perfect, so don't make your characters perfect. Be realistic, a fourteen year old can NOT be the world's greatest fighter. Granted she can be good, but not invincible. The more flaws, the more we will love them!
No character can die off without the owner's permission.
No cyber-bullying. It's not cool and actually makes you a bigger wimp than people who are victims. Why bully people who you never have met and never will? Duh!
You are allowed to cuss, just not like crazy. One or two words per post depending on the length is fine. If your character is a jerk that's fine, just don't constantly use profanity.
