*PLOT & FAQ
So how did you end up here in White Boat? Ah man, it'll suck for you. We are a lovely small town in British Columbia, filled with all the go-to tourist destinations. But don't be fooled by our commercial yet quirky appearance... a secret society called the "Fosters" have their headquarters here. They control nearly every aspect of our lives. They have things like curfews, restricted diets and strict social events. They also determine who and where you will live in the duration of your stay.
Why don't people just leave? And why are the Fosters doing this? Those are both very good questions. The Fosters have guaranteed locals large amounts of money for every year they participate. The longer you stay, the more money you will get when you leave. The Fosters are doing this in the name of 'scientific research' and it's for the future development of life products.
Are locals here happy with it? I'd say so! Most people don't mind... the food is good and the social events are pretty fun. The only part they don't like is the arranged roommates; but people do get over it.
Are tourists part of the action? Nope, tourists don't have to participate. But if your'e not a participant, you don't get to go to the awesome parties! Tourists are encouraged to join... so go register with the Fosters before the party is over.
